The Center for Transforming Student Services (CENTSS), provides educational institutions with the tools and training they need to develop and deliver high-quality student services online. Effectively implemented student services are a critical component of student retention, engagement, and satisfaction. Through CENTSS, institutions are able to blend the power of technology with the personal attention of traditional support services.

Established as a partnership among the Western Cooperative for Educational Telecommunications (WCET), the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) and Seward Inc., CENTSS expands upon WCET's research on best practices in student services online.

CENTSS Services Include:

Audit Service: Benchmark and plan improvements to student services online.
Best Practice: Recognition of best practice models in student services online.
Library of Information Sources: On topics related to e-student services.
News and Events: To enhance the sharing of information among institutions about technology enabled student services.
Workshops and Consulting Services: To help institutions redesign their services to increase student success and retention.
